The 2007 Wild South film Festival will be a showcase of the latest and greatest documentary films from around the world.
The inaugural Festival was a 'competition based' festival where the viewing audience got to see the winning entry for the various film categories. But many of the films that did not win were also brilliant examples of non-fiction story telling.
To celebrate all the great films available we have changed this year's festival to a selected screening festival. The top films in each category will be selected to screen, allowing a wider range of films to be showcased.
Where possible the actual filmmakers will introduce their films and recount a little of the journey they went through to make the film. In the evenings special guest speakers will kick off the night, followed by a double screening of films from that night’s featured category.
